DRAWINGS & GUMMY TOYS OF NICHOLAS, GREGORY AND NIKITA
The Lubennikov family lives in Moscow. Nikolay - 11 years old is fond of sculpting gummy toys, loves to assemble constructors and tablet games. Gregory - 14 years old, likes to draw various characters and enjoys tablet games.
Nikita Lubennikov was born in Moscow in a family with strong artistic traditions. In his family were not only people passionate about art, but also professional icon painters. The colorful world of Russian nature, native Moscow region, attracted the boy from childhood. And at this age, when his peers painted men, planes, animals and cars, Nikita enthusiastically painted nature - an abandoned pond, a river bank, a forest edge, a lawn with flowers, a blue sky, slanting rain lines...
Geological parents supported the interest of the young man and his passion for the impressionists, but still preferred to send his son along a more pragmatic path - Nikita received a higher economic education and began to work in this specialty. And he continued to give all his free time to his favorite pastime. Gradually, painting became for Lubennikov the main occupation, the second profession. And in relation to her the master himself - the first and foremost.
Nikita works with tempera on cardboard. I chose my favorite format -65x52 cm, I order it myself for frame works that I consider to be the most suitable. His paintings are difficult to confuse with others. The influence of the great impressionists of the past (whose work he had from childhood had the opportunity to memorize in the magnificent collection of the Moscow Museum on Volkhonka, and then complement his impressions in other major museums in the world) on his work is undoubted. And although some of his works resemble Claude Monet or Van Gogh, Nikita has his own colorway, own technique of applying a smear and vision of the world.
The artist is not spoiled by the attention of the authorities, but now we can say that his fame is yet to come. And the paintings of Nikita Lubennikov disperse around the world. In 1995-98 as acquisitions of private collectors, they appeared at exhibitions in Switzerland, Belgium, and the USA. Three of his solo exhibitions have already taken place in Moscow - in the halls of the Swiss airline and the Swiss travel company Excel Voyage, the Japanese restaurant Sapporo.
Calm greenish gray tones, an impressionistic style of painting - landscapes by Nikita Lubennikov have a favorable, calming effect on the viewer, attract connoisseurs of different generations, charge (as many say) the owners of his paintings with vivacity and some special internal energy and warmth.
